Definition

Double Sided Tape, commonly known as paper double tape, is an adhesive tape made from paper with adhesive applied on both sides. Designed to bond objects from two sides (top and bottom adhesion), this tape is thin, lightweight, easy to tear, and capable of adhering to various surfaces such as plastic, glass, wood, and metal.
Double Foam Tape, often referred to as mounting tape, is similar to double sided tape, featuring adhesive on both sides. The difference is that foam tape includes a foam layer, approximately 1–2 mm thick, with adhesive coated on both sides.

Thanks to its strong and long-lasting adhesion, this tape is often used as a substitute for screws or nails when mounting items on walls, ceramic surfaces, or wood. To ensure maximum adhesion, apply the tape to clean surfaces free from dust, water, or debris.

Paper double tape can also function as a small-scale vibration reducer, noise dampener, and sound insulator. Its ease of application makes bonding two objects much more efficient.

Double Foam Tape is used to bond two objects on uneven surfaces or surfaces that require extra holding strength, as it offers stronger durability than other double tape types. Foam tape can be applied to surfaces with a maximum temperature of up to 80°C. It is commonly used in home decoration, such as hanging photo frames, paintings, and other wall décor items without the need to drill holes in the wall.
